A collection of links to online web applications provided by the City of Chicago and the Chicago Police Department. The applications allow users to request or track city services and view crime conditons.

ARREST DATABASE

Search Chicago Police Department public arrest records including Name, Mugshot, Age, Address, Central Booking Number, Charges, Arrest Date/Time, Arrest Location, Date Time Released from Chicago Police Facility, Bond Type/Amount/Date, and the geographic police area/district/beat. This site is made available for the use and benefit of law enforcement partners, news media, and members of the public.

CITY SERVICE REQUESTS

Submit a city service request electronically to the City of Chicago for Garbage, Graffiti, Potholes, Streets, Tree Replacement and Water among many other items. For more serious requests such as a broken water main or street cave-in call 311. For emergencies and police service call 911.

CITY SERVICE REQUEST TRACKER

Track a City of Chicago service request that was submitted electronically, telephonically or in person to a to the police department or your alderman. You will be able to enter your Service Request Number and check status of your service request.

COMMUNITY CONCERNS DATABASE

This application enables you to search the Chicago Police Department’s database of reported community concerns. You will be able to see maps and tables of reported concerns summarized into categories. The database contains 1 year of information which you can access in blocks of 90, 180, 270 and 365 days. Data is refreshed daily.

CRIME INCIDENTS DATABASE

This application enables you to search the Chicago Police Department’s database of crime incidents. You will be able to search and see maps, graphs and tables of crime incidents by district and beat among other search criteria.

GUN OFFENDER DATABASE

This application enables you to search the Chicago Police Department’s database of registered gun offenders. You will be able to see maps, graphs, and tables of offenders. The database contains the names of registered gun offenders who reside in the City of Chicago and is updated once per day.

ONLINE CRIME REPORTING

This application enables you to make an immediate case report of a crime in which you are the victim with the Chicago Police Department. Emergencies should be reported immediately by dialing 911 on your telephone instead of submitting a police report online.

PURCHASE TRAFFIC CRASH REPORTS

This application allows you to purchase traffic crash reports filed by the Chicago Police Department. The fee is $6.00 per report that includes a $5.00 service fee and $1.00 convenience fee.

SEX OFFENDER DATABASE

This application enables you to search the Chicago Police Department’s database of registered gun offenders. You will be able to see maps, graphs, and tables of offenders. The database contains the names of registered gun offenders who reside in the City of Chicago and is updated once per day.

TOWED OR STOLEN VEHICLE DATABASE

This application allows you to quickly check the status of a vehicle to determine if it has been towed or impounded by the City of Chicago or has been reported stolen to the Chicago Police Department. It also provides details about stolen or lost license plates, repossessions and non-city tows (such as private parking lot tows) that are reported to the Chicago Police Department. Information is updated every hour on the hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
